Token Monitor is a local-first desktop widget that tracks token usage, spending, and provider rate-limit windows across popular AI coding assistants. It surfaces live per-tool and per-model figures on the desktop, and can optionally sync multiple machines through a self-hosted hub so a developer can see combined usage across all their devices in one place. The project is open source under the MIT license.
