Picocrypt NG is a community-developed continuation of the archived Picocrypt project. It is a small, simple, and secure cross-platform tool for encrypting files and folders, built around the XChaCha20 cipher and the Argon2id key-derivation function. It ships as a portable GUI application and a command-line tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux. All cryptography runs locally and offline; the tool collects and transmits no user data. The focus is security, simplicity, and reliability.
