A monophonic vocal synthesizer that sounds like a monk chanting.
MonkSynth is a free, open source VST3/AU vocal synthesizer plugin for digital audio workstations. It recreates the sound of a chanting monk using FOF (Formant-Wave-Function) synthesis, allowing musicians to play realistic vocal formants in real time via MIDI or an interactive XY pad. The project is a modern reimplementation inspired by the classic Delay Lama plugin from 2002, built with a portable C DSP engine and cross-platform support for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
